Awesome Weekend!

We had an AWESOME weekend playing outside! Matty loves to be outside. He will grunt and run to the door every time we open it. If you are not careful, he may even slip out the back door when no one is watching!!!! (Not pointing any fingers...but I was not home!)

Not only was the weather amazing, our little guy was NOT sick. It's been ear infections, colds, viruses, constipation (oh, TMI) all winter long! So....goodbye WINTER and everything icky that comes with you and HELLO sunshine and smiles!

We had a great weekend with our first visit of the year to Deanna Rose with Tay Tay, "bike-riding" around the block, a walk to Lowes, and a wagon ride by Brooke.

We also waved at a LOT of people too. Our new favorite skill. What is your favorite outdoor activity?

Matty Loves to Read

 There are some nights that we HAVE to read Llama Llama Red Pajama 4 times! He can't get enough of it. 

His other favorites (and Must-haves for any of his friends out there) are Llama Llama Misses Mama and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.

Mommy and Daddy would love some more recs on good toddler-pleasing books. What are your favorites?

Such a boy.....just eating the refried beans made him laugh! He's got a new laugh that I think he might do just for attention, b/c even a messy face now makes him giggle....makes my day!

Matty's 1st B-day Party.....I LOVE CAKE!

 Matty celebrated his 1st b-day party with a KU hoops theme and lots of family and friends!

It was such a great day! We are so thankful for our awesome support system of family and good friends that celebrated with us and more importantly helped us through the past year.

Tony made the awesome Jayhawk cake!

 And Matty tore into his cake and LIKED it A LOT!

We opened lots of awesome gifts and then had lots of time to play with our friends.

 Baby gates rule our world right now (much to Razzy's dismay!) b/c Matty the Mover is everywhere! He loves climbing the stairs, wrestling with daddy, and trying to sit on Rocco!
